A little bit about Jill

For me, reflective practice has grown from many years of journeying with people in roles of care, leadership, and ministry. My professional journey began in dentistry, moved to education, and then into pastoral care and chaplaincy, where I developed a deep appreciation for the importance of supervision as leader and roles of supporting others in complex and demanding work.

As I believe every person holds inherent dignity and worth, supervision offered me the opportunity to learn that for myself also by pausing, stepping back from the immediacy of my practice, and thoughtfully consider the experiences, questions, and challenges that arose within myself and my work.

Supervision and reflective spaces have supported my growth, helping me make sense of my experiences and deepen self-understanding in my personal and professional life.

Outside of my professional life, I value time in nature — walking, cycling, and being near the water. These simple patterns offer their own invitation for me to pause, reflect, and regain perspective.
