Beginning supervision is not simply a logistical decision — it’s a relational one. Finding the right supervisory fit matters, and it’s important that we both have a sense of how it feels to work together.

I offer an initial conversation, at no charge, to meet, share a little of our context, and explore what you are hoping for from supervision. This conversation is informal, giving us the opportunity to ask questions, and notice whether working together feels supportive and safe. It is also an opportunity to discuss fees for they depend on whether supervision is individual, group or organisational.

If we decide to continue, I usually suggest working together for three to four sessions allowing time for our supervisory relationship to take shape, for trust to develop, and for us both to discern whether an ongoing supervision relationship feels right with no pressure to commit beyond this initial period.
